But… once I arrived I found myself alone, in a new place a million miles away, and the job was suddenly… Gone.
So I started working on myself. I read the books, downloaded all the ebooks and worksheets, and absorbed any personal development information I could. My credit card was being flung around between courses, “cheat sheets” and webinars that I was gobbling up like 0 calorie brownies! I started my Life Coaching business in 2016, and saw some success. As many new coaches do, I found myself focusing way more on marketing, advertisement, sales, and copywriting way more than actually coaching through! It was a dream come true to have established some of my own income, but I still wasn’t satisfied.
So I reached out to others. I asked for help and connected with mentors and masterminds.
It was an 18-month emotional rollercoaster. Hard work, tears, laughter, amazing connections, and lots of invaluable life lessons brought me to the point where I could finally realize my dreams.
It wasn’t easy. I had some moments I certainly wished I could re-do. But, ultimately, that crazy year and a half transformed me. My experiences helped me–sharing them will benefit others.
